You're dying. Well, to be fair, we are all dying. It's just a matter of when any of us kicks the can. Could be tomorrow, could be in 50 years.  So why does everyone care so much about what they look like? We are on a floating rock in space. A speck in the universe. Our lifespans are but a blink in history. In three generations there is a good chance our names will be forgotten, even by our families.  So why does everyone care so much about what they look like? Body dysmorphia is a mental health condition where a person spends a lot of time worrying about flaws in their appearance, flaws that are often not noticed by other people.  I can confidently say that I am guilty of this.  The rational part of my brain knows that no one really cares what I look like, but the irrational part of my brain tells me that whenever I step into a room, all eyes are on me, judging me. The New and Improved City of High Point

The city of High Point has done some re-vamping over the past few years. From bars to restaurants, the city is slowly becoming more popular for both townies and for High Point University students. This fall, a new bar opened up in downtown High Point across from the Rockers' Stadium called The Dive Bar . It has become increasingly popular with college students because of the fun arcade games and affordable drinks and snacks, as well as having quick service and ample seating.  But, The Dive Bar isn't the only bar in town. High Point students and townies have been going to Blue Bourbon Jack's (BBJ's) and 1614 (previously known as After Hours). Another popular bar that gets a lot of student action is The Deck, which is located 10 minutes outside of the city, in Jamestown.
